My Work
I'm the co-founder and co-creator of The Deadbolt Mystery Society. By day, I write mystery boxes that allow subscribers to assume the role of detective from the comfort of their living room. By night, I write stories that are a mix of suspense and horror.
I've written over a hundred short stories, several novellas, and a few novels. I've had my work translated into German, optioned for film, and even been picked for a couple of "Best Of" lists over the years.
I'm a fan of writers like Ray Bradbury, Brian Keene, James Newman, Stephen King, Agatha Christie, Kealan Patrick Burke, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Richard Laymon, and virtually anyone else who writes a good mix of suspense, mystery, and horror.
In my spare time, I listen to rock music, play guitar along with my favorite Iron Maiden songs, and wait...who am I kidding? Spare time?
